Sillage stands out by producing all of its skis in its own workshop in Villard-de-Lans, in the heart of the Vercors. From selecting the raw materials to processing them, we carry out every assembly and finishing stage in-house.
Aluminium Tail Protector
Designed, fitted and finished in our factory, our aluminium tail protector provides reinforced protection to extend the life of your skis. It features across the entire range, except the freestyle ski (double rocker).
High-precision skis
Designed and made in France in our Vercors workshop: exceptional equipment with real soul, conceived to deliver flawless on-snow behaviour and sensations.
Patented process
Sillage brings a real advance in Research & Development to the ski industry. Our patented technology frees production from traditional moulds, which require heavy investment. The resources saved are reinvested directly in high-quality raw materials.
Bamboo core
Where most manufacturers opt for ash in their high-end skis, we favour bamboo for its outstanding mechanical properties. It naturally dampens vibrations and provides remarkable stability, whatever the snow conditions. Particularly resistant to moisture and frost, bamboo can be left directly exposed on the sidewalls. This technical choice removes the need for synthetic ABS, thereby reducing environmental impact.
Edges and Bases
Our edges come from Austria, from the world leader in the field, and our sintered bases from Germany. As these components are not made in France, we source them from the industry's specialists.
